Large 19th century polychrome scrimshaw sperm whale's tooth. Carved both sides. Motifs: 2 fully rigged ships with american flags, eagle with E. PLURIBUS (??). Nice color and deep age patina. Old wax in cavity for mounting on a stand. Good condition, just a real nice 19th century tooth. Approx. l 7" item as1903
